Hi all, I have a manager who is in charge of hiring, training, and scheduling. However, my costs are constantly above industry average. For example, January was the highest grossing month in two years, but we lost about $4K, due mostly to labor costs, which amounted to 51.7%. I know that they work hard, but something seems off. For example, he schedules 6 people to work a slow mid-week shift that generates on average about $1000. Is it acceptable to have labor cost this high? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!
