    Fresh Basil

Steve, I’d definitely put it on after, and I much prefer chopped(shredded into strips) to whole leaf. It will be a soggy mess if you cook it in. Whole leaf is a little too cute and doesn’t give enough flavor uniformity to each bite.

How many here want to see me throw away money?

Steve, I’d print out and tape to each order a special, “good for the next seven days only!” coupon on bright paper. Use a 5-10% higher than normal food cost but bundle a couple pizzas and maybe some sides with it. The coupon should thank them for their loyalty, etc. Write the date on the coupon...

    grease interceptor smell

Hot water and a cup of bleach down the sink will get of the smell for a couple days till you figure it out.

    Competitors Coupons

Well, maybe the prospect of a new customer is exciting, but does this strategy weaken the perceived value of your product to non coupon clippers?

Please help, closing store, financial mess

You must like getting abused by people. You probably need a therapist as much as a lawyer or accountant.

Please help, closing store, financial mess

I’d talk to an accountant for an hour or so. You shouldn’t owe much if any taxes at that level. Their is no penalty for late returns if you owe nothing.

Please help, closing store, financial mess

You shouldn’t pay half of anything. You weren’t an equity investor. They took the money risk, you took the risk of losing 3 years of your life. So, your 3 years is worth WAY more than their 50k.

    Competitors Coupons

What is your product like? If it’s somewhere in the same ballpark, you could do it. If your several notches above, you will cheapen your product and brand by taking those coupons. I’d spend the money on a rewards program instead of discounts.

    My 12" Fatboy

I don’t really get why people try to do this entendre stuff with food. a. it will bother half the people who hear it. b. no dude wants to put anything in his mouth that has been the least bit related to a male body part Like the above poster said, if you’re not in a college town i’d avoid it...

pizza box qunadry - someone else's ad on boxes

I’d call the dealership manager to see what’s up. Then I’d sell him on the idea to pay you your going rate to deliver a pizza to every one of their new customers in your area. It’s a super cheap way for them to leave an impression. And a profitable way for you to introduce your product. Be sure...

Alot of it also is all the people burning up their Chili’s and Olive Garden gift cards.

No one is paying that much (58.5 cents per mile)

Why don’t you just become a mail man or something. Better yet, put yourself in the position to make a payroll. You can pay all the drivers in gold bars if you like.

    Steam. Pizza's Wost Enemy

Also, you might try a longer, but lower cook time. Takes a little more of the water out, it seems like to me.

    Steam. Pizza's Wost Enemy

It’s certainly a challenge. -I’d look into using Krisp-its(pmq advertiser) for you veggie intensive/pepperoni pizzas. It basically soaks up excess water and grease. It looks like large bread crumbs. -Our boxes combined with the mass of our pizzas can keep a pizza hot for 20-25 minutes without...

Does anybody put messages in the lid of their pizza boxes?

Re: Does anybody put messages in the lid of their pizza boxe We tuck a folded menu into the side seem of the pizza box for every order we send out. In my experience, I tend to throw away the box without taking the time to detach whatever’s stuck to it, so I leave it loose. Of course our menus...
