    Bad Checks

We leased a machine that works just like a credit card machine. Just run the check through the machine and it tells you instantly if the check is good or bad, if they want to pay by check on delivery we get their bank account number and punch it before the driver leaves. The machine rental is...

    Presheeting Dough

Anyone out there presheet dough and keep them in the cooler, the dough needs to stay good for 12 hours. My Friday nights are becoming busier and once I run out of the 50 larges we have sheeted and screened on pizza racks it can become kind of hectic.

    Holiday Business?

I agree with goomba, we will close Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I am glad Christmas Eve falls on Monday, typically a slow day for us, so I will not really be missing much. I am going to enjoy a couple days off and spend it with my wife and kids.

    Stick and Save or Magnets

I got my samples from stick-n-save and adeas printing today. The quality of the stick-n-save blows adeas printiing out of the water. Stick-n-save is very similar to the monster magnets (perforated coupons, thick stock, etc…) and adeas printing is more like a nice flyer with glue on the back...

    Stick and Save or Magnets

Another company that seems to have a very similar product to stick-n-save is www.adeasprinting.com. I have called both companies and asked for samples and prices.

    Please help!

Paul: Can you post your free pizza certificate. I think that is an awesome idea. Are you including a menu or anything else with the certificate?

    Check out my menu!

Kyle: Do not give up on doorhanging. I have a store that struggled big time for almost a year, but I did not give up on doorhanging. We doorhanged the same neighborhood 5 to 6 times before getting a response. My advise would be Pick out 1500 to 2000 homes and doorhanging them every week if...

    Sheeting Pizza Dough

Scottie: Do you have to let the sheeted dough get back to room temperature or can use directly from the cooler. Thank you!

    Sheeting Pizza Dough

We currently slap all our dough but I would like to use a sheeter that came with an equipment package. I have tried it with a few pizzas and really liked the results. Need a little help from those who sheet their dough. Is there a method to presheeting a large number of dough balls and keeping...

    Mailing Postcards - Permit Help

NicksPizza: I thought the price was reasonable considering all I have to do is ship the postcards to the mail house and they will take care of the rest. The company is called Mail Source and they are based in Amarillo, Texas, but they can do saturation/bulk mailouts anywhere in the U.S. Their...

    Mailing Postcards - Permit Help

bodegahwy: I wish my printer had a mailing permit but unfortunately, no. The cheapest rate I have found for mail and print is around 35 cents for a full color piece, 4" x 6".

    Mailing Postcards - Permit Help

I’m trying to mail out postcards, but I am having very little luck finding a mail house that wants to mail out a couple of carrier routes a week. A couple of quotes that I have gotten are ridicoulous, it would actually be cheaper to go buy postcard stamps and mail them out myself. I noticed...

Hungry Howie's franchise? what can you tell me, good or bad

Re: Hungry Howie’s franchise? what can you tell me, good or I’m not real familiar with Hungry Howie’s but beware of the promise of buying power with a franchise. I have seen cases where you could actually buy products cheaper if you were not locked into a franchise system, sometimes the...
