The right oven for the job

appreciate that the product you have in mind could also be made in a conveyor oven…it’s all about the dough recipe, really-and not the type of oven one uses. Good luck to you !

    Used Ovens

Gas-fired deck ovens have only one moving part: the solenoid in their gas valves. Nothing else about their ability to cook should be affected by storage in a humid/non-climate controlled environment. Conveyor ovens (which are my primary stock in trade) are another matter altogether. If the...

    Looking for Equipment.

Hey tangopizza, I am Tom, “the oven guy” that Crusher and Paul7979 spoke of. I can find whatever you might be looking for, in nice condition, and at a fair price. And as Paul7979 mentioned, I am nearby(in Gainesville, FL.) I need to come over to Jacksonville to pick up some equipment inside of...

    Moving a 60 Hobart

YEAH, Paul. Next time I won’t hit the brakes when a stupid driver cuts me off. Remember that I DID travel over 1200 miles safely-with a car hauler, too. But then again, you haven’t seen another 140 qt in the back of my pickup since, have you?

    Moving a 60 Hobart

Hey guys, I sell pizza equipment; when you sell it, you have to know how to get it installed in one piece-or you won’t get paid! For what it’s worth, I’ve moved dozens of mixers, including Hobart 140’s. FIRST, the tilt forward and slide into a van(with a H-600 or L-800) is a pretty good...

Anyone looking for a Rotoflex oven?

Paul suggested that it would be more appropriate to post the info for this in the classified section-which I did. I don’t want to spam the think tank and pi$$ everybody off. The link to the ad is: http://www.pmq.com/ads/index.php?a=2&b=124

30qt hobart mixing bowl...anything to help w/flour mess

George is right; Hobart makes both covers and extension rings for their bowls. One of my customers opted to purchase a used Hobart D-340 bowl instead to avoid this very problem.

    Mixer Grease?????

WD-40 is okay, but I like PB Blaster for it’s ability to dissolve other hydrocarbons. The white lithium grease is indeed your best bet, but barring that any high quality wheel bearing grease will do the job.

i NEED driver jackets...who has the answer?

we used to get our drivers zippered, hooded sweatshirts and have them silkscreened. The first one was free, but if they got trashed we replaced them and charged them for their replacement jacket.

anyone have any used XLT's or Pro Series ovens for sale?

in reference to used XLT ovens, I spoke with a guy out in Illinois last week that has a pair of used XLT 3255 ovens for sale. He said they are about 2 years old, but he was offering a 12 month parts warranty with their sale…for whatever it’s worth.
