Hey, folks, this is Rick Hynum, editor in chief of PMQ Pizza. I'm saddened to announce that PMQ's Think Tank is closing down at the end of this week - specifically on Friday, June 6. PMQ Pizza has undergone many changes over the past two years under new ownership. Managing the Think Tank has become more challenging as PMQ has evolved and participation in the forum has declined in recent years. We have greatly expanded our coverage of the industry at PMQ.com, including our newsletter, Pizza Pulse, which goes out via email on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and a second e-newsletter, Startup Shops, which is published every Tuesday, along with occasional newsletters like MenuIt.
PMQ's former publisher, Steve Green, founded the Think Tank back in the late 1990s as an online resource for our readers, and you have made it a very special place over the past 25-plus years. You have shared your success stories, your problems and solutions, and your everyday experiences as pizzeria owners. You have lifted each other up and made the pizza community stronger with your wisdom, your generosity and your openness. We appreciate all of you for your contributions to the Think Tank!
Please know that we still want to hear from you. In fact, we'd love to meet you in person! PMQ Pizza will host its 2nd annual Pizza Power Forum on September 2-4 in Atlanta, and we would love for you to be there. Think of it as a live version of the Think Tank featuring educational sessions led by owners and operators just like you. If you REGISTER HERE before June 13, you can take advantage of early bird pricing - just $125! In addition to the Pizza Power Forum, your ticket will also give you full access to our sister publications' events, the QSR Evolution Conference and the FSR NextGen Restaurant Summit, all at the same location and featuring some amazing keynote speakers, for the same ticket price!
Please come and join us at the Pizza Power Forum, and let's continue to build up this awesome pizza community that we all love so much. I also invite you to SUBSCRIBE TO OUR NEWSLETTER HERE FOR FREE!
Thank you all again for being members of the Pizza Power Forum. We'll miss this community - it's the end of an era, but I like to think of it as the beginning of a new one!
