Re: Calling all machanics… I read somewhere (it was years ago) when cars had carbs on them instead of fuel injected, that 5 minutes of idling used as much gas as driving 1 mile. Don’t know if that is still true or not.

One opened up an a town near me this past summer…about 8 miles as the crow flies…I have not been in it yet…but have driven by on occasion…they started out busy but now they don’t seem as busy once the newness wore off.

I heard on the news that the city of San Fransisco has banned the sale of Happy Meals cause it leads to obesity in children. SO it is beginning.

I was up 1% over last September…I will take anything I can get especially since I was down 15-20% all summer over last year. 🙂

I was til I figured out that it was on a Sunday & we are closed. 😦

I was wondering the same thing too…This entire month has been the slowest month I have ever had.

I usually go with my gut feeling. Sometimes I have been wrong but most of the time I am right. I start them out on a 2 week trial basis so if they do not like the work or I feel they are not right for the job then they can be let go.

I just paid 32.95 for a box of Romas…was quoted $48 for a 50# bag of yellow onions…salesman no relief in sight on the onions til July or August.
