Aldelo is diverse for any type of restaurant, customers include Denny’s, Wendy’s, Bojangles, Popeye’s, Ben & Jerry’s Church’s, Wings,Pizza N Things, and Fox’s Den Pizza. There are as many choices out there as there are price points, beyond that it is all about the service!!!. IMO 🙂

mandyspizza: Take 2 aspirin, with a hot toddy (short on the hot and long on the toddy), and call me in the morning LOL, get some rest and get better!

    Credit Card Dispute

You don’t want to turn away business, especially in this economy. I would run the credit card transaction, using AVS and CVV, ask the woman for her driver’s license number and run with that. The risk is still there, but at least you would have some ammunition to fight a chargeback. Hopefully she...

    Credit Card Dispute

mrkona: No flames apply! 😃 Everyone should also be doing AVS and CVV input, just more safeguards to protect not only the merchant but also the consumer. The merchant is required to keep the actual signed slip. Hang Ten!! I love Oahu!

    Credit Card Dispute

Maybe I’m missing something in the translation here, please correct me if needed: I call up for a delivery, you take my credit card number, you run the credit card before I am off the phone to get an approval, and you tell the customer that the driver will need to see the credit card and...

    Credit Card Dispute

mrkona: The following link explains about Visa’s small ticket “no signature required” program which started in 2006. At the bottom of the page you can see the categories that qualify for the program and the ones that get a lower interchange fee. If you don’t do delivery you should be ok, just...

    Credit Card Dispute

AlphaJD: The problem is the way Pizza shops process their transactions, you can’t get “no signature required” when you do deliveries because you can’t swipe the customer’s card. The credit card must be swiped in order to have “no signature required”.

    Credit Card Dispute

Weird, I just posted this same information on another forum for the same reason. The following link will take you to Visa’s rules for merchants file, http://usa.visa.com/download/merchants/ … chants.pdf. Go to the section related to chargebacks. You don’t have the signature so it will be...

    We're ALL doomed!!!

I don’t think you have anything to worry about!!! I am the unfortunate frequent traveler, and do not ever eat anything that is in a vending machine other than can soda. Do you know how bad the rodent and cockroach problem is in fresh food vending machines? Yuck, ich, gross!!!

Visa removes Heartland and RBS Worldpay from compliant list

Update on Visa, Heartland and RBS just out a few hours ago, Heartland is fighting back but new lawsuit is filed for securities violation against Heartland. At least it clears up the merchant issue about being fined. http://www.scmagazineus.com/Heartland-V … le/129358/

POS Receipt printers...steer me to the right one.

What POS system are you using? You need a printer that is compatible. Almost all POS Systems default to the epson emulator compatibility. I haven’t seen any POS System that requires you to use a specific printer Brand/Model. Since I haven’t seen every POS System, I suppose there could be one...

POS Receipt printers...steer me to the right one.

indie pizza: Try this site pos-x.com, go to downloads, click on receipt printers and click on XR510 for thermal or XR210 for impact. This download is an epson emulator driver. Good Luck

POS Receipt printers...steer me to the right one.

deaconvolker: Hello again, You don’t have to have all the same printers or any particular brand cash drawer. You just need to have the drivers to make sure they will work. You can usually get the drivers downloaded online. I would stick to a medium price range printer if you want it to last...
