My newest credit card is not embossed…It is flat and no way to take an impression…Not sure if these are in the US yet so it may be a Canadian thing only…
So this deal was reached this morning…Still probably years away from being ratified…
But I curious about some of the conditions…The agreement limits dairy exports from the US to Canada at 3.25%…So will one of the big players be able to take all this 3.25% for themselves and effectively shut out...
Are you thinking about only putting some of the items you offer on your menu?..If so, I would think this might lead to more calls and more time on the phone because folks are asking what else you have…
Whether one marketing investment or another will work best is a matter of testing…A larger flyer will usually have more impact, however, sometimes distributing more copies of a smaller flyer also works…So then it comes down to tracking your costs…Then you can “tweak” your efforts to maximize...
But “barely profitable” is still profitable…Plus you have to consider the “long tail” results that will come later on… Just being consistent with your marketing can give you an advantage over places that are “hit and miss”…
Despite all the pieces that end up in “recycling”, direct mail still provides enough of a return that many businesses find it worthwhile…I have some realtor clients that have been doing mail outs for 10+ years…Most such mail in Canada is “unaddressed”…

I can not imagine “recycling” magnets like that…Once they leave your possession you have idea where they have been or what has been done with them…Sounds like a landmine to me…

This is old news but I had not seen it before so I thought I would post it…
On a per piece basis it sound reasonable…Depending on your market it may or may not be enough times…Some of my clients do as often as 12 times a year or as few as 4 times a year…You really need to test your market to see where you land…Every market is unique and needs to be tweaked…
