    sugar cookies!!

What’s the big deal with cooking at the same time? Are you just wanting them to be hot? Most folks can nuke them at home if they want that as cookies are not normally served hot. I would just cook them on the conveyor ahead of time and then wrap and ship. Make them special, though. Big chunks in...

Yup. Mine have IR illumination. I was thinking about installing them strategically at home. Wife vetoed the idea.

Everyone hates the "REWARDS CARD RATE"

My dad had a GM Rewards card. You earned 5% or something towards a new car. Since he had great credit, he had like a $50,000 limit or something impressive. So he goes into Cadillac, negotiates a great price on a new Caddy, then whips out his credit card to pay for it. The salesman just...

Everyone hates the "REWARDS CARD RATE"

I intentionally pay cash to the small businesses I patronize.

Everyone hates the "REWARDS CARD RATE"

Yup. Hate the reward card rate. Nice for them to promote their card at the merchant’s expense. Now, if the rate was the same across the board, I would not care what they want to do to promote their business.

    sugar cookies!!

stpaullee:  The favorite pizza place in town sells oversized cookies (about 5") for $2.00 each. They do a brisk business and I suspect the product cost is minimal. They are wrapped in cling wrap and in a basket. Nothing fancy.

    New Deck Oven

I would much rather have a conveyer oven for the consistency and volume as well.

    Cash registers coming up short

bodegahwy: Same thing with consistent overages. Thieves worry about showing up short so that will take a little less that what they did not ring up.

    Halloween 2009

From my general restaurant delivery view, we did incredible business tonight while the restaurants we picked up from were dead. Halloween is definitely a delivery business night. 😃

    Cash registers coming up short

Unless you have a POS that requires individual logins, you need to restrict the register to one person… and that person knows they are responsible for the count. Just because someone is a long time employee does not mean they get to dictate policy. For all you know, she is the one stealing.

    CC Transaction Fee questions

The reason they do not do these improvements is because they don’t HAVE to. That’s the problem with a virtual monopoly.
