CIguy, How did they save you a $1000 on workers comp insurance? My payroll and tax service has nothing to do with my workers comp. Do they offer a discount if you get your insurance through a specific company?

I use my POS as a time clock. At the end of the payroll period I check everyones times for mistakes. I then email the file to my accountant who does the payroll from there.

Just had an employee get his hand stuck in our dough sheeter. He is on his way to the hospital with some pretty nasty injuries. Has anyone had this happen to one of there employees? How did the insurance company handle it? I’m hoping he doesn’t lose any of the fingers.

I send out a postcard with a magnet on it to the top 1000 customers about every 3 months. Each postcard has 3-5 coupons on it and are usually package deals for pizza and sides. I get a huge response from these. I spread the mailing out over 3-4 weeks.

You could get a stamp made and just stamp the inside of the box with the saying. That would be pretty cheap.

It depends on your market. I really like it, but I am in a small community and it wouldn’t go over very well. If you are on a college campus it wouldn’t be an issue. Topper’s Pizza has some of the best ads and website. This sounds like something they would do. Toppers.com -Crusher
