Reading the customer the menu over the phone

It’s the absolute worst and I think I have trouble hiding my annoyance. I also like the ‘what toppings do you have’ as if they expect us to say ‘bits of unicorn hearts’.

    pizza cheese

It really isn’t that difficult. I honestly can’t imagine not doing it. You’re grabbing a handful a cheese anyway, we’re just grabbing it with a cup and we set it down for a second before throwing it on the pizza. We aren’t using those scales at the doctor’s office. I put 10.5 oz on a large...

    pizza cheese

We dump and spread. What is this catch tray? Are we talking about in the prep table under the cambros?

    pizza cheese

Maybe I’ll post a picture of what I’m talking about. Cheese that falls into the prep table, cheese particles left in the VCM, etc. You have some level of waste, maybe it’s so minuscule you don’t feel the need to measure it, but there is some. Just feel like we have more than we should, and I’m...

The connection to the AC adapter isn’t as secure as I would like, but other than that, no.

How to get Facebook "likes" for your fan page

We use facebook as our exclusive advertising source. For 50 bucks ove this past weekend, around 9000 people saw the post and we got back 50 deals from that (and our 1100 email list and our 200 text list). Would some of those people have ordered anyway? Probably, but the anecdotal amount of...

    pizza cheese

For those of you who weigh consistently, how much cheese waste do you have? Cheese that is lost in the make line, spilt, etc? Obviously, 100% is ideal and unrealistic.

    pizza cheese

This is the one I have. http://www.webstaurantstore.com/rubbermaid-1812588-2-lb-compact-digital-portion-scale/6901812588.html

    pizza cheese

Just the cheese. We have a stadium cup in the cheese bin, just scoop and weigh every pizza. I’m sure it might get trickier at the volume some of the folks here do, but it works for us.

    pizza cheese

We’ve been weighing since day 1, id recommend a scale regardless. I’ve been doing it for a year now, and even then I’m off by an ounce either way some times.

    150 businesses refuse to doorhang

Got told to leave every apartment we tried to hang them on, and got the cops called in the one neighborhood we tried. Door hangers aren’t for us either.

    Adding dine in?

What percentage sales increase did you see when you added the seats?

    Adding dine in?

I’m a little confused… You doubled sales overnight and yet you wouldn’t do it again? My thoughts to keep labor more manageable was to have a fast casual environment/counter service during lunch, and kind of transition to full service for dinner.

    Adding dine in?

I’ve been looking at auction sites and talking with an interior designer. My theory is it’ll be cheaper to get everything used and hopefully have someone who can refinish it to look cohesive than buy it new.

    Adding dine in?

Obviously results are going to vary, however has anyone added dine in to an existing DELCO? What impact did that have on your lunch/dinner?

    World Cup affecting pizza sales?

No, the difference is the 94mm that watched ‘some part’ of the WC was spread out over dozens of games, over a whole month. The Superbowl was 110mm people in front of their TV at the same time. That’s why we don’t see a bump for WC games. The game last night had a 9 rating, the highest ever for...

    World Cup affecting pizza sales?

You’re reading the information wrong, 6.3 rating vs a 34.4 rating. The WC match isn’t nearly as big as the Super Bowl. In fact, it’s more like an NBA Finals game.

    advise on "happy hour"

But why not do both? Customers also understand limits. Some will ask, never know what you might get if you don’t ask, but you tell them no. Tell them the system doesn’t allow you to do that. Tell them you’ve got a partner who will chew your butt if you do that. Tell them you’ll be fired if you...
