    I would make sure if you have a drive thru window (like mentioned before) make it as convenient to the rest of the operation as possibly. Don’t want to walk to across the store away from everything else to hand out the pizzas, etc. Make 2 trips to greet the customer then go grab their food.

    We collect all tips (cash and cc) for the month for all carryout orders. At the end of the month all kitchen staff and managers (not GM) have the tips split by hours worked during the month. For the month it averages about 50-60 cents per hour.

    We do both. Our drivers log their odometer reading at the beginning and end of their shift. Our POS will also track the deliveries they took and it will give us a mileage reading based on Google maps mileage for their deliveries / trips.
