    Punchh loyalty with SpeedDine

Actually I don’t use punchh. I’ve checked into it, but it is designed for large chains of 20 or more locations. Their minimum monthly fee is around 4K and the setup will be about 15K. Hotboxpizza.com is a Speedline customer thay uses Punchh if you want to see how it works.

    Conveyor Ovens?

XLT and Edge ovens are the favorites around here. Both are big enough to build an oven at a good price but small enough to provide personal service. Either way your’re good.

What are your cc processing rates

No. Not a peep. It’s almost like they don’t care.

So my world pay statement for April just came in and my effective rate went from 2.45% to 3.55%. That was an increase of $7500 for the month. 😡 My account rep is looking it over.

    Speedline users, what cc processor?

I switched to world pay a few years ago with Speedline. It was a smooth transition. We also switched to the EMV readers. My rates went down a little from 2.3% to 2.15%. My chargebacks went way down, from a few thousand a month to just a few hundred. Currently I’m paying about 2.35% becuase...

    Hesitating to add pin pads

Yea I don’t bother fighting them either, it’s a waste of time. We do about $600K a month in CC sales so I feel 1K in chargebacks is fine. I have 2 locations that are in middle income areas and we get amost zero from them. The other 2 locations have a large low income base and the bulk of the...

I think it is time fo different ovens

The new XLT ovens have a re - designed chamber with some extra baffels to improve air flow. The outer fingers direct air inward now so there is little to no air exiting the chamber

    Hesitating to add pin pads

We probably get about $1000 a month in chargebacks for all 4 stores combined. To me it’s a small price to pay to not have to hassle customers for ID. About 50% of our orders pay online with a credit card so we never see many of them since they have us leave it on the porch or at the front desk...

I think it is time fo different ovens

Yea it’s a lot. We have to do this double wall insulated duct, all this engineering, extra roof support because we have earthquakes, fire suppression. It goes on and on.

I think it is time fo different ovens

I use a standard hood. Installing a new hood in California cost around 40k so I just keep my grandfathered hoods.

I think it is time fo different ovens

I’ve used the XLTs since 2007 in 2 of my locations. They bake great and I’ve probably spent only 4K to 5k total in repairs on all 6 ovens combined in 15 years. They just work. Last summer we upgraded a middlby mashall triple stack in another location and will be doing one this summer at...

    Hesitating to add pin pads

I think the checking ID thing has really gone out the window in the last few years. We check ID on an order here and there when we are suspicous, but that’s not too often. Upon looking at your website, my question is why are you not using Speedine for online orders? David

I think it is time fo different ovens

I’ve been in the process of installing new XLT ovens in all my locations. Triple stacks run about 40K with shipping and istallation.

    Hesitating to add pin pads

We also use Speedline and switched to the pinpads 2 years ago. They have worked out fine, just just take a little getting used to. We have seen an increase in insider tips since they can be programmed to with a tip button. They love that since they walk out with an extra $3 to $4 dollars an hour...
