    Taking Checks

    Giuseppes Pizza: I have to agree. People with checking accounts are usually issued a debit card. Sooooooo much easier than a check. I use to take check in my jewelry biz…stopped after 6 months and 5 bad chacks. Now its cash or plastic.

    Specialty Pizzas

    As a consumer, and hopefully soon to be pizzaria owner, I like the “special” pizzas my local place offers. Hawaiin, Garlic/Tomato, and the 4 cheese white pizzas are my favs. I don’t mind paying couple extra bucks over the traditional types.

    In the Boston area you couldn’t get away with paying that low. You’d have a revolving door of employees. A friend of mine owns a small restaurant. He has people who “don’t have papers”…he gets away with paying that low.

    5% profit myth

    I’ve been looking now for 2 months( 10K+week) and the way alot of these owners kept their books is amazing. My accountant couldn’t make heads or tails out of one place. All I know is the owner drove a Ferrari 355. LOL
