Next Door Pizza Coming Soon - HVAC questions

Patrick: The oven I was referring to is a Vulcan-Hart (VC44ED) - 40" Electric Convection Oven. A link to more information can be found here: http://www.foodservicewarehouse.com/vul … /p215.aspx That is shipped with free freight also. I believe George thinks the oven isn’t a good selection for...

While I agree that the site I posted a link to is probably a very expensive site, it does not mean that the design company does not offer less expensive options. I like looking at good sites and finding out who developed them because it shows what they are capable of. Rockstar: There is some...

Hi Patrick, Regarding the oven: As long as you are comfortable that the other components are in good shape. You just want to make sure you aren’t going to spend the 1000 and then another 1000 for something else. You can get a vulcan double stack 208v for less than 6K. You should have your guy...

    Lets talk deep dish pans...

Good morning. Anodized aluminum is generally the best. We don’t list them on our site but can get them if you’re interested. Most people do not want to pay the extra money for anodized. Owners tell me that if you season the standard aluminum pans and are hand washing them they will be great...

Mobile Pizza Biz Tips & Advice

Patriot’s Pizza makes a good point. You will need commercial refrigeration and an approved oven to get a license. Pizza prep tables come with self-contained refrigeration and can work in a mobile setting if installed properly.

Love the counter! It’s unique. Table saws tend to win in a fight against fingers. 😉

Mobile Pizza Biz Tips & Advice

Adding to George’s valuable comments, if you choose to get a generator, understand that to get a setup that is approved by the DOT can be quite pricey. Probably worth it so that you could have proper refrigeration but just something to consider. Your state DOT is going to be a valuable resource...

We don’t sell these so I can’t attest to their quality but a friend told me about them and they look like they might suit your needs. It’s a mobile brick oven that comes in two different models or a custom fab option. Check them out if interested: http://portablebrickpizzaoven.com/

If you end up building a decent size email list, a email marketing program might come in handy. Hmm… I was sure I had seen those with both casters and legs… If George is right, I was mistaken and thanks to him for clearing it up. The tip about removal still holds true for casters if they are removable.
