    VOIP (Pizza Cloud)

I signed up with them 2 months ago. There were some issues. Switching over phone providers went well, but we had some issues with it configuring with our pos firewall. Once that was all done , things are great. No issues. The cell backup will keep your phones and web ordering up when your...

How do you deal with the problem of drivers leaving food behind when they take a delivery?

Our delivery area is close as we only go out 2 miles, so normally they would come back if it was their only 1 and go back and fix it ( if it was their fault). If that delivery is on a 2-3 run , I send someone else. Mistakes happen , but order accuracy is key to success. When time is wasted...

How do you deal with the problem of drivers leaving food behind when they take a delivery?

Either they have to check the order before they leave or get a delivery dispatcher who cross checks everything. I penalize a driver that if they caused the problem , they have to go back and fix it. That means no deliveries until they correct it. They will learn fast. Sent from my iPhone using...

How Many Food Vendors Do You Use?

What December Said. It’s the only way to keep them honest. They may sell you certain products with great pricing , but most will pad other items to maximize their profit Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Percentage of online orders

When I used to allow cash/credit card orders from unregistered users we had only a handful pranks. Once I changed to “registered users only “ that ended. I wouldn’t restrict to credit card only . The cash orders I receive outweighs the % I would have to pay to the credit card companies Sent...

    Printer Setup Help

I don’t think any pos system can easily route deliveries. Only a good delivery dispatcher really knows how to. My pos has color zones on the map to make it a little easier. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Printer Setup Help

My store current uses tickets only, no bumps or screens. I’m looking to upgrade possibly this year but my pos company hasn’t got back to me on cost. There is a more efficient way for you December , and that’s bump bars. I’m very hesitant for change but I think bumps will make me more efficient...

    Labor

I’m hovering at around 29% Labor. If your in the 55%-60% range for food cost & Labor you should be fine. I’m curious to why your notprofitable. Check your expenses , then look for theft . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

*** Investors needed for NEW POS Software development ***

Pos is a very tough market. I look for 100% uptime , support response time , features I can’t live without , software upgrades , and how long to fix a major bug. I use one of the major ones, and I’m a very happy customer. They helped me grow since 2006. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Can’t get people in!

Jessica , Go back and check your yearly sales since you began. If your going up year over year , then just sit. I remember years 1-3 were a challenge for me. I started seeing better numbers after year 4. Check your food cost for items and make sure nothing is out of whack too . Sent from my...

    purchasing an existing shop

Cash wages could be either a or b. If he’s hiding 400k , he is most likely paying under the table wages. Standard flour bags are 50lbs. I’ve seen bakeries use 100lbs. Cheese cases range from 40-60lbs depending on the brand. 30% food cost can include Paper and other stuff. It depends how and...
