Big Holler is currently the only online ordering that directly interfaces with Point of Success. They also are capable of alerting you if an order was not able to be sent. If you have any more questions about the interface please feel free to message me.
Be careful with those “customers pay” options. There are very specific requirements for how it has to appear on both customer receipts and credit cards receipts.
As a Point of Success dealer I will only install systems on Windows 10 mostly for the reasons that Steve L. listed above. Once windows 7 is no longer supported any systems still running it will no longer be PCI compliant.
It will insure that extra charge items are not only charged but charged the correct amount. Reporting will also be much easier and quicker. Your POS may also help with marketing and customer loyalty which would help bring in additional revenue.
As a POS dealer who also has 20 years experience in the restaurant business, I could not agree more. Most POS users like to have the ability to make changes without having to call someone. With my customers I normally only need to get involved in major changes.
Most of the pizza places I work with also do carryout and have dine in available. If you swipe a card that has a chip then the liability is on you for a fraudulent transaction. Unfortunately the banks are in control, just trying to shift liability to the merchant.
