pizza box qunadry - someone else's ad on boxes

I actually think royster’s idea is a great one. Contacting companies with joint marketing in mind. They provide the boxes with their logo and (upsell) message and thank you note. You of course get your logo also on the box. They buy X number of pizzas for their customers (new or loyal) from you...

    Steam. Pizza's Wost Enemy

After years of working in the outdoor industry, I very much doubt that these fabrics would let sufficient vapor through to stop the steam building up inside. If any fabric can do the job it would be a fabric called eVent which has been shown to have better ventelation than GoreTex. However...

    A timely blog post

I can’t see that Godin is recommending discounting as such. The overall message of the story is if the marketing activity is making money (this isn’t limited to advertising), that is, making you more money in than it is costing you, then you should keep doing it. How well your marketing...

Beating them at there own game

Haha nice 🙂 Probably true about the bottom feeders, but you will also get Dominos customers in to taste your product, which is most likely a much better product! Calculate the lifetime value of those customers and you’ve made a good business decision!

    Baking issues

Tom, one last question if I may? After an evening of operation, if I have any dough balls that have been sitting out in room temp for 1-2 hours, is it alright if I put it back in the cooler over night to use the next day? Thx!

    Baking issues

No we aren’t washing the screens, but I only took over the place a few weeks ago and haven’t maintained any seasoning, nor do I think the previous owner did either. I’ll get to this ASAP. WOW, Tom, thank you very much for your advice and time you put into the answer. I’ve read through a lot of...

    Baking issues

Hi. I’ve been having trouble with my pizzas when baking. There are basically two problems. Firstly, we are getting some pizzas with bubbles (sorry, don’t know the technical term), so that the cheese and sauce runs off. We are docking the dough, but we are actually doing it just before we toss...

    Logo Design

Try 99designs.com You set the price (usually $150-300) and you get dozens of proposals. I tried it once, and was amazed at the quality and quantity of proposals I got. You might also try crowdspring.com, similar concept, but thought the designers are better that submit to 99designs.

    POS for non english language

I’ve been reading about POSPizza and it looks good (so does the price!) Does it cause any problems using British pounds instead of USD? Can it handle the different VAT settings etc?

    POS for non english language

Hi. I am in Europe, and am looking for a good POS system. Do you know if most or any of them are compatible with foreign languages. We have some non english letters and would like to customise the system so that it is in our language, or at least be able to use our letters in names, street names...
