If you have limited funds and have taken over an existing pizzeria with very low sales and is located in a high traffic area would it be better to spend the money on flyers mailed out to the area or purchase a store front sign (it has none) ? Thanks

chuck,

Actually, you can have the best of both worlds. With limited funding (let’s say $1,000) you can get a painted sign on a piece of 4x8 plywood ($200), have an electrician hook up some flood lights to shine on your sign at night ($200), and still have $600 left over to print over 6,000 doorhangers you can distribute yourself. -J_r0kk

As im sure you’ll get others in here saying, I would get a sign for sure, but I would do door hangers instead of flyers. Its a good way to get peoples attention. I realize you have low funds, but I would do everything to get people in the door.
