Answering Systems - Phone Systems - Need Help

I am getting a POS system and I am concerned about the training period. I realize in the beginning the order taking will be slower than usually. I am looking for a system that will answer the phones, tell our specials and ask for our customers patience while we are learning. Any advise on a phone system/answering system would be greatly appreciated.

I use a call sequencer from http://www.messageonholdservice.com. It answers the phone with a brief message consisting of our specials then asks them to hold for just a moment. It then rings to our store phones and continues on with another message till we answer the phone. It also gives the recorded message any time someone is put on hold. This works great for introducing new menu products. It really drives the sales to what you’re pushing in the up front message.
