Brick cleaning and rotation

How often do you rotate and/or clean your brick. I want to see what you all have to say to make sure my Management team isn’t blowing smoke.

Thanks
Jeff

I never clean or rotate them. I just use an oven brush on them, and a shop vac to clean out the burnt semolina near the flame like once a month

We just use the oven rake and broom regularly during production to keep the oven clean, and at the end of the day we work the stones over pretty thoroughly with the rake and brush out the residue. No rotating of stones.

What is the benefit from not rotating them?

Have you ever had to rotate those suckers? HEAVY!!! The stones are pretty much self cleaning with a little help from the brush/scraper. We leave our ovens on Friday nights to give them a chance to really burn clean.
