City Bylaw Department Asking for Donations

I had a person from the city bylaw department come in and ask for donations for their “Positive Ticket” program. The idea behind the program is to reward people who are obeying the law. They want local businesses to donate products for them to give out.

I would like to hear what your opinions are on this. I have strong feelings about this but would like to see if I am way out of line with my thinking.

I have never understood this thinking by the LEO’s. I am going to pull you over and run your info and waste 30 minutes of your time just to make sure your following the law. Then after giving you a panic attack i am going to give you something for obeying the law.

How about you don’t waste me time and leave me alone ?
