I have seen this item was wondering if anyone here was brave enough to try it
I wouldn’t use one in replace of a real walkin evaporator/compressor combo if I had the option, but I have seen them used very successfully in conjunction with a humidifier controller for charcuterie and cheese making projects. Also seen coolbots for cheap portable walkin solutions for food trucks.
I would not recommend that product.

Been using it for a year and love it. My walk in is 5x12’, outside (gets 90+ degrees), and i’ve had no issues with it keeping temp. Also, it’s under $100 per month to run. Make sure you get a good, energy efficient A/C unit and that your walk in has good insulation.
