I was wondering to those of you who do delivery/carryout,what type of desserts do you offer and how many? How well do they sell?
We are almost exclusively delivery and carryout. For desserts we offer New York Style Cheesecake, Tiramisu and a Caramel Apple Dessert Pizza (9" pizza with apple pie filling, struesel topping and caramel sauce). The Cheesecake and Tiramisu are feast or famine, we even discontinue them during January and February. I think the sales that happen are mostly due to a low price point. The Apple pizza sells much better, I think most families are looking for an cost efficient way to feed everyone. Spending $3-$5 per person for dessert doesn’t seem to fit most budgets in our area. But, a $4.50 dessert pizza is a big crowd pleaser. Good Luck!
