Looking at setting up a location in a bigger town, was wondering if anyone takes the EBT card for uncooked Pizzas and if so how do you go about setting that up

Each state seems to have different guidelines… the one that nixed our plan was more than half of your sales need to come from EBT eligible items, such as salads and drinks (and that’s it). We made an attempt to offer take and bake but it was still 90-10 split between eligible/non-eligible… we weren’t even close so we gave up. There is a ‘cash side’ to EBT, the KFC in town started taking it and that peaked my interest but not enough to follow through with seeing what I needed to do to set that up. The Papa Murphys down the street cleans up on EBT sales.
