EDDM Postage Rate Increase

For those of you that utilize the USPS Every Door Direct Mail program, there is a postage increase coming down the line that you should be aware of. The increase will take effect sometime around the middle of January 2014. The current proposed rate for EDDM retail is .175 per piece for flats under 3.3 ounces. This is up from the current rate of .16 per piece. This may not be exactly what the rate will be but this is what is being proposed. If anyone has any questions just let me know.

Didn’t they have a rate increase not to long ago?

The rate increased at the beginning of this year from 14.5 Cents per piece to the current rate of .16 cents and unfortunately there is going to be another increase this coming January 2014. this information came directly from the USPS and there is of course nothing that can be done about it.
