I’ve recently taken over a local factories cafeteria and they will be paying me very well for catering their working employees on the upcoming holidays. My question is how do you go about having employees work on holidays
I used an engine hoist and cargo straps.
I do the same thing. Sometimes I whip them too - never had anybody miss a holiday! 
I’m offering double time too!!!

The labor laws in Canada give you many more options in dealing with employees.
?? We write the schedule and they show up or we find new employees.
With that said, we are closed on Xmas day. It sounds more like you are talking about a whole period of time not just one day?
Realized I’m to nice and laid down the law. Everyone seems happy to work now.
