Anyone else notice the thickness of hormel pepperoni lately? It seems to me they are slicing it a little thinner than normal. I know a 25# box is still 25#'s but it just seems like im getting alot of thinner pieces lately. It seems every hanfull i need to unfold at least half of em to put 'em on the pie. Just wondering.
Hormel has a couple different ways that they sell their pepperoni. Maybe your distributor changed to the thinner ones. Don’t quote me on this but I think they package a 16 slice per once case and a 14 slice per once case.
They also have 18 slices per ounce…
