I just don’t get it. It is so easy to just maintain a separate forum and disallow posts. The greatest value of a forum is the achival knowledge. People come and go, but the knowledge persists… unless some short-sighted person thinks the value is the current chitchat.
I will contact PT and PMQ to see if they still have the databases and if they will let me maintain them on my server. No new posts allowed but searchable.
Charles I like your idea there has been a lot of information lost in the four years that I have been hanging out on these forums. It would be a great loss if the contributions that j_r0kk, Otis and others made should dissappear.
