I have a chance to rent a space that can offer drive through pick-up. I also have another space next to it that is a larger, and more efficiently laid out.
My question is have any of you had experience with the drive through pick-up window? Would it be a major factor in deciding your space?
We took a chance by putting a drive thru in about 15 years ago and it paid off big time. Doubled our business within three years. We were the first to do so and now there are many pizza drive thru shops around. I would look around your area and see how many places have drive thru first. See if it is popular. If it is you have to be quick! People expect that in a drive thru.
