On our recent return from Park Rapids, Minnesota we stopped at a pizzeria for dinner. This time it was the Pizza Ranch in Owatonna, Minnesota. We had a very good experience, along with, I might add, some very good pizza and broasted chicken. This is the second Pizza Ranch that we have stopped at over the years on our return from Park Rapids, and I was equally impressed with the other one too. If you ever get a chance to check one out, avail yourself of the opportunity to see a well run buffet.
By the way, the fishing was great! We were averaging 10 northerns a day, and also picking up a few good sized bass and walleye. Not to mention the fun the “old bearded one” had sitting on the dock catching scads of large bluegills and bullheads which made for a very tasty fish fry.
Duty calls again next week (gotta work) so I’ll be away from the Think Tank until next Friday (September 17th).
