What do you guys pay to have your restaurant hood systems cleaned? My insurance company is busting my chops about getting them cleaned regularly.

I do not know the charges but I know when I was an insurance adjuster I loved hood fires…They were great for my business…And under some wordings there is a condition in your policy that you must do certain things and if not you may be in breach of your policy and a claim may be denied…So alway wise to do what your insurer asks even if you have to bite your tongue while doing it…

I’ve never had to deal with it myself, however, I looked in my handy Yellow Pages and found MANY chimney sweeps that mentioned VENT HOODS.

i have a 10’ canopy hood and a 16’ grill hood with ansul and they get about $350 twice a year
