What is a good software to use for sales history? I am not interested in POS stuff at this time. I have a very small operation and manually putting information into the computer is not a problem. The problem has been that all of the software is geared towards pos systems. I want to have something that I can enter data in and then next year look at trends etc. for ordering/ staffing purposes.

On a very basic level you can use Excel, however, I suspect that even a very basic POS system will be a much better tool…

Yes, just use Excel. You can convert the data into graphs or equations or whatever suits your fancy . . . I use Excel with my POS to run different scenarios or keep track of other things.

pos pizza does a great job, but excel would be effecient
