I use star and have to find another route for sure, we just had a baby and i have to use the room that all my boxes are in for a nursery…currently thru GFS I have to buy 10 cases at a time. I called star and they said PRESTO was a distributor but presto says nope…I have had a great run with gfs but since changing over there cheese line and the boxes I just may have to be on the look out for a new guy
Most food distributors should be able to get you there . . . with a pass-through markup. I order through USFoods using Star’s small order program. I pay a premium for boxes, but I don’t have a bunch on the shelf.
Check with USFoods, PFG Milton, Pocahontas, or any of the regional/local guys still around near you.
