Tom Lehmann,

dear tom,
i would like to know, what difference it makes, adding the oil at the end
of the mix,as compered to after few minutes of starting the mix.
kind regards joede

Adding the oil at the end of a mix can present problems trying to get the oil to mix into the dough properly. When added this way, it just coate the dough and bowl and the dough ball clings to the hook while sliding around in the bowl. By adding it up front, after about 2 minutes of mixing, it goes into the dough a lot better, and faster too, and you will know that it is well distributed throughout the dough, rtather than just coating the dough on the outside.
