Not sure if this kind of pressure will cause Visa to reduce charges or just find a way to pass them along to smaller businesses that do not have a “big stick” like Walmart…
I have never understood how the CC companies get away with the rates they charge these days when everything is done by plastic. Then i realize how much money they make and bam, they can afford to buy any politician they want/need to keep the rules the way they are.
At this point CCs are a financial utility and like other utilities the rates they charge should be regulated!!
