I’ve always had a good carry out deal (mainly so that I can offer something at a price nearer to my competition - I’m at the top of my market).
I started doing BOGOF (any size) on Sunday’s for carry out only as a way to increase Sunday business - it worked really well and customer started asking for it on other days. So we changed it to large only and offered it every day (again carry out only). When food prices ran wild last years we changed it to buy one get on for 1.00.
It works very well for us as those people who say we’re expensive we can then say ‘well if come down to the shop its just…’
