to my knowledge homestead protection in massachusetts is 250k... (i think it costs maybe 50 dollars to double it from 125 to 250)(for those who dont know its a protection of your house where you reside against any legal judgements agains you) ... most of us have stores under corp name... does someone went beyong that? maybe set up llc in wyoming or transfered business to a trust ? what else is out there to defend lawsuits? how does it work for you? whats the annual cost of maintaining the structure?
