can you buy a store?

does anyone know if its possible to buy an individual store in a strip mall ? i was told you can wonder if anyone has done this. what could you use to decide on the price? the mall has 4 stores on first floor then 2 floors of offices.my store is going to be1600 sq ft.

Yes there are plenty of commercial property owners that sell off individual units as condos. Cost just depends on your region, and how desireable the space is. Smaller complexes are less likely to go this route as the legal fees can be prohibitive.

in most cases the owner would not sell an individual unit, because it could cause problems…plus… why sell individual when u can lease it for years and make the money and still own the spot
