Hi…
I’ve been wondering if it’s safe to freeze food wrapped in wax paper. I’ve read some information online and I’m concerned about issues like freezer burn or changes in texture. Can anyone provide insights or share personal experiences with freezing items in wax paper?

thanks
Jerrell

Yes, you can freeze wax paper without it cracking or fading. Just make sure to use it properly and store it correctly.

Wax paper is made from vegetable oil and resin, which makes it moisture-resistant. This protection works well for food items like baked goods, sandwiches, and vegetables, even in freezing temperatures.
