Canadian Pizza 2012 Chef of the Year - Daddio was 3rd.....

Congrats also my friend. The room looked tough! (Judges faces) Was that a Desmond prep table? Any thoughts on it? Also the ovens…what was your take? :?:

Last year we were listed as one of the best pizza places in our capital city.
I had a poster nade that said in big bold capital balck letters on a bright yellow background … VOTES BEST PIZZAS IN PERTH. In a white section between VOTED and the rest of the text in very small letters was “one of”.
Funny thing after 12 months of being in the windowand each and every day right upto now people are only reading the main big bold text … VOTED BEST PIZZAS IN PERTH.
In the past year our sales have jumped close to 20% with sales up ver 30% in the last 5 months.
We milked it by portraying us as “VOTED THE BEST…” without telling an untruth. We even had it on the front of our new menu.
It has worked for us and continues to do so.
What ever you decide to do milk it what ever way you can, posters, fridge magnets, menus, advertising etc
