Capacity for 80 qt mixer?

We have been using a 60 qt Hobart but am looking to pick up a 80 qt Hobart to save labor when doing our batches.

From what I “think” I have read, an 80 qt mixer will handle 50 lb bags of flour???

Just wanted to confirm before buying.

Yes the 80qt will handle 50lbs of flour with ease.

Hi Guys:

If it is an old L-800 it may have no more Horse power than the H-600. A Hobart
M -802 can handle 50 Lb ok.

We have a lot of clients mixing 50 lb in H-600 Hobarts despite the specifications saying no.

Been mixing 50lbs in a 60qt for years (multiple stores). Have never had a problem.
