Concept idea

Ok not sure but wanting to know if a restaurant has a concept and is not located in your state, can anyone take that concept and do the same thing, not sure if Im looking for a patent infringement or not…

I have a friend who saw an idea on this concept, he wants to do the same concept and not sure if it might be a patent infringement or not

Are you talking about name logo and everything or just style?

No not name or logo, talking about, the concept of the way they make & run the business, say like a similar concept as subway, you walk in pick you bread, meat topping and things like that
