I have one… works very well. Extremely simple to use. I wish I would have gotten the biggest plate available… we have the 12" platens. We use it to make our 14" pies as well… simply have to hand stretch a bit after pressed. The plate gap is adjustable on the fly so we can jump from thin crust to a pan thickness in half a second.

I have a 12" & 16" that I use and an extra 18" available for sale or swap for a 16"
great machine once you get the hang of it

I’ve never used another brand so I can’t speak to differences… just know I like my Cuppone
