It’s even hit the TV news segments here in Perth Western Australia.

Thing is they didn’t specifically say it was Domino’s in the US so there very well could be negativity towards Domino’s here if people think / assume it was from an Australian store (here’s hoping 😉 )

I’ve gotta say I don’t think this video is good for any pizza place - just because its was made by DP staff any member of the public is surely going to realise that this kind of thing can happen anywhere not just at DP. It perpetuates the urban myth about ‘what will they do to my food’.

This actually happened not too far away from me.

The two people have been arrested and charge with a felony under a law that makes it illegal to tamper with food (originally written to cover tampering with Halloween candy).

Oh the urge to be internet famous. These people probably never actually did anything to any food in their life, but one moment of ignorance is going to cost them plenty.

I agree with wizzle, I think this is bad for pizza places in general. People are going to assume that happens at every pizza place, not just that one.

They must have gottena decent lawyer, because original YouTube link has this: "This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Kristy Hammonds. " Must be trying to insulate what’s left of the jury pool who hasn’t seen it.

I didn’t realize how much footage was left off the original until I clicked the link just above. These people are something.

JUST SAY NO!

This is a warning to screen carefully the people you hire to trust your business to. The videographer could possibly be this registered sexual offender who has not finished 9 months out of probation (out of 24) yet. You gotta see this sort of thing and understand the judgement and maturity level of people who work for you. 14-27.5A

http://ncfindoffender.com/details.aspx?SRN=016454S11

per NC state laws
§ 14‑27.5A. Sexual battery.
(a) A person is guilty of sexual battery if the person, for the purpose of sexual arousal, sexual gratification, or sexual abuse, engages in sexual contact with another person:
Code:
       (1) By force and against the will of the other person; or

       (2) Who is mentally disabled, mentally incapacitated, or physically helpless, and the person performing the act knows or should reasonably know that the other person is mentally disabled, mentally incapacitated, or physically helpless.

As an owner who does the right thing and tries to instil this into every staff it still remains a concern in the back of your mind that "when the act is away, the mice (or RATS in this occassion) will play.

Prank or real? Whatever these people deserve everything they get. Fancy putting this to air in the first place especially wearing uniforms etc and prominently naming Domino’s on many occassions.

I guess there is a lesson for us all in staff selection, screening and ongoing staff devolpment and talking with them about what is acceptable and what is not.

I just hope that my staff never lower themselves to this level.

Dominos isn’t exactly known for paying well. When you pay poorly you attract bottom-rung employees, but the low pay is what enables them to sell pizzas dirt cheap. You reap what you sow.

I recently as of this afternoon heard that the domino’s that this occurred in has been shut down. Does anyone know if this is true?

Not true. They closed on Tuesday to “clean”, but reopened on Wednesday.
