FDA bans some food contact substances

I was wondering what everyone’s plan of action is regarding the FDA’s recent ban placed on perfluoroalkyl ehtyl, or PFASs, that are commonly found in pizza boxes. I’m guessing everyone has inquired into this with their pizza box manufacturer or distributor?

I’m not sure what we are going to do. I wonder if having another layer between the pizza and the box would make it safe?

You wouldn’t happen to know where I might find and buy something like that, would you?

Keep in mind that the operative words are “food contact”, for at least a temporary fix you should be able to use an approved food contact material between the actual pizza and the offending cardboard. A piece of parchment paper comes to mind in this instance. But do lean on your box supplier and ask what they are doing to address the problem.
