How to find a location and project sales

My name is Solomon Solomonov. I am a 24-year old law student with ambitioins to establish a pizzeria in Brooklyn, NY. My biggest obstacle has been chosing a proper location. I believe my strengths include my ability to micro-manage, manage operations of a business, and engage in financial analysis. My weakness, however, is marketing, including chosing a location.

My biggest concern is that I will be unable to project sales and chose a attractive location and, as a result, my business will not generate enough sales to cover variable and overhead expenses.

I am hoping you can provide some insight into what steps should be taken in chosing a location and how to project sales given that locatioin.

Back on track though… Its really tough for anyone to tell you how to search for a good location. Maybe contact a commercial real estate broker… I don’t think you could project sales based on location until you find the location either. But I could be wrong.
