Does anybody know if there is a machine that will answer the phone, play a recorded pitch/up-sell then ring through?

Oh, also it would be for an analog system (regular phones not PBX)

Where can they be found?

I would suggest getting in touch with Mike Wick from Message on Hold http://www.messageonholdservice.com/ . Their call sequencer does what you are looking for, but I don’t know about being analog.

I don’t know what that machine would cost, but if it is expensive you should really consider upgrading your phone system to something like the system at www.simpliphones.com . You can do it yourself even. It is able to do anything you can think of and then some. I am getting one for my store that will be opening in about two months, so if you are still looking then contact me and I will let you know what I think of it after installing and using it. Good Luck!
