Menu Cost Software

Does anyone use software to calculate their menu costs? I’ve been working on a massive set of spreadsheets to calculate our menu cost; but I don’t have the time to finish it. I’m looking for a program that can calculate the cost of each of my menu items based on the case prices for the week. I don’t need anything fancy, not looking to track inventory with this program or overall food costs just the basic food cost for each recipe.

Most POS systems can do this, tho it is part of the inventory module. Outside of the POS i use a excel workbook with multiple spreadsheets to calculate recipe’s and coupon costs. I do not know of any stand alone apps or programs that would do this.

Both of my suppliers Food Services of America & Nicholas & Co both offer a free food cost software that updates each week with the different price increases.
