It’s unbelievable here in New England- most everybody is offended by most everybody and most everything.
It’s odd, too, because Elizabeth warren is part Indian, er Native American; Sorry Liz.
But, it seems nationwide, too.
I was at my niece’s Thanksgiving event at her school- she was 7 then, I believe, (this is just 2 years ago) and she was dressed as a Pilgrim and the girl next to her was an Indian. I said “Aren’t you just the most beautiful Pilgrim ever!” and then said to her friend “And you are a beautiful Indian or Squaw, as well”
Teacher took me aside and said "We can’t say “Indian”, we have to say “Native American” which may, in fact, be more accurate or respectful, not sure. No matter- everybody seems to be offended by everything.

So True we are living in the age of the Tissue users, Luckily I am in Oklahoma where there are so many Native Americans they just roll with the flow
